Our Franchise Candidate Process
We take great care in selecting franchise partners. This isn’t a sales pitch—it’s a mutual evaluation to ensure long-term alignment. Here’s what you can expect:
1. Initial Call
An informal conversation to get to know you, understand your goals, and determine whether there’s a potential fit. If it makes sense to continue, we’ll move forward.
2. Deep Dive with Co-Founder Joe Sexton
This is where we get into the details:
Breakdown of the Initial Investment
Review of Profit & Loss Statement (Item 19 from FDD)
Walkthrough of Our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)
Market-Specific Demographic Analysis
3. Background & Financial Verification
We use bVerify to confirm financial qualifications and background. It’s a quick process with a soft credit pull—no impact on your score.
4. Interview with an Ace Pickleball Club Franchisee
This is a key part of our evaluation process. Our franchisees are trusted voices in deciding who joins the network, and they’ll be asking you questions to help assess fit. It’s also a chance for you to ask your own questions and hear directly from someone who’s in the business day-to-day.
5. Additional Franchisee Conversations
We’ll open the door for more conversations with our franchisees so you can ask deeper questions and hear a range of perspectives.
6. Final In-person Interview at APC Atlanta
This is a two-way interview. You’ll meet the team, see the model in action, and make sure this feels like the right fit for both sides.
7. Decision
We’ll be evaluating whether you’re the right fit for the network, and you’ll be deciding if this is the right opportunity for you. If everything aligns, we’ll extend an offer to join Ace Pickleball Club.
Please Note:
This is a two-way fit process. At any point, we may decide not to move forward if we feel it’s not the right match—and you’re welcome to do the same. No pressure, no hard feelings. Our goal is to build the right network with the right people, and that only works when it feels right on both sides.
